Nurture and challenge your writing ability

In Lesley’s Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing program, you’ll hone your creative and critical writing in a variety of ways: independently, through one-on-one collaboration with your faculty mentor, and during semiannual residencies.

  • Fiction
  • Nonfiction
  • Poetry
  • The Graphic Novel and Comics
  • Writing for Stage and Screen
  • Writing for Young People

During your residencies, you’ll have the chance to see visiting artists, writers, critics, curators, and historians from throughout the literary world as they share their expertise through lectures and critiques of your work.

“Writing may be a solitary craft, but working within a community of Lesley faculty and fellow writers gave me the inspiration I needed.”
